Questions we get.

On pricing and how the year runs.

How much does a filing cost?

Indian tax filing starts at CHF 299 per financial year for a standard NRI profile. Swiss tax filing starts at CHF 399 for a single filer in one canton. Advisory is CHF 199 per hour. Complex cases (multiple properties, business income, cross-border sale, notice response) are priced with a fixed quote before we start. No hourly surprises.

What is the RNOR window and why does it matter?

Resident but Not Ordinarily Resident (RNOR) is a two-to-three-year cushion between full NRI status and full ROR (Resident and Ordinarily Resident) status when you move back to India. During RNOR, your foreign income (Swiss salary, Swiss dividends, Swiss brokerage gains) stays outside Indian tax. Timing your return, redemptions, and account conversions to make the most of this window can save several lakh rupees of Indian tax.

What do you need from me to file?

For Indian filing, we need PAN, passport, Form 26AS / AIS, bank statements (NRE, NRO, resident), TDS certificates, and proof of any deductions claimed. For Swiss filing, we need the salary certificate (Lohnausweis), health insurance premium statements, Pillar 3a contribution certificate, salary certificates, and details of any Indian assets. Full checklist is shared after the onboarding call so you only send what actually applies.
